“No amount of development in Jammu and Kashmir is sufficient”: CM Omar Abdullah

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said on Wednesday that no development in the region is sufficient, given Pakistan’s continuous efforts to destabilize the situation. Abdullah made these remarks while responding during a visit to Ahmadi School of Aligarh Muslim University. He came to a family friend’s grave to pray, who recently died.

The Chief Minister also emphasized that not only important efforts are important, but it is also very important to be successful to get the highest degree of progress and development in Jammu and Kashmir.

Abdullah told reporters, “The way our neighboring country is trying to spoil the atmosphere, we have to ensure that there is maximum development and progress in Jammu and Kashmir.”

CM Abdullah said that construction of the world’s highest railway bridge, chainb bridge is a good thing and should focus on continuing the construction of such infrastructure. Abdullah said, “It is a good thing that is currently the longest railway bridge in the world; our effort should be to keep it equal.”

The bridge over the Chenab River is the highest bridge in the world, a milestone project for Indian Railways, which was completed after several ups and downs in a difficult area. It connects Kashmir to Jammu and all over the country through rail. Architectural Marvel Chenab Rail Bridge is the world’s highest railway arch bridge located 359 meters from the river. It is a 1,315 m tall steel arc bridge which is an engineer to face seismic and air conditions.

Regarding the reservation bill in Jammu and Kashmir, Abdullah said that since not in the assembly session, no bill can be introduced at present. The Cabinet Sub-Committee has prepared its report, which will be presented in the cabinet in a few days.

“Our assembly has no session, so no bill will be submitted. The cabinet sub -committee has prepared its report, that report is to be submitted to the cabinet. The cabinet meeting is held twice a month. It has not been held in this month. It has not been held yet. On Friday, CM Abdullah reiterated the demand for restoring the state in the Center area, expressing confidence that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be one to complete it. (AI)
