It turns out that the path to power in many states across the country runs through the female vote bank. After Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Jharkhand, states holding elections next year are also trying to tap into this vote bank. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will conduct the Mahila Samvad Yatra across the state from December 15. It is believed that after this he will also announce the female Revdi.
Be it Maharashtra’s Ladli Yojana or Jharkhand’s Maiya Samman Yojana, stipends are paid to all women every month. These plans proved to be a trump card in returning to power. After Jharkhand, current Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is also preparing to play the same trick in the neighboring state of Bihar. Assembly elections have been proposed to be held in Bihar next year.
Nitish’s visit could prove to be a trump card
In view of this, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will conduct Mahila Samvad Yatra across the state before the elections. Anyway, Nitish Kumar is famous for his political travels. Nitish has made 14 foreign visits so far and has played a huge role in regaining power many times. Nitish Kumar took decisions like banning alcohol in Bihar only after holding conversations with women and polling.
In any case, the issue is being explored ahead of the Bihar elections. The opposition wants reservations and raises the issue of caste. At the same time, if the Nitish Kumar government announces any scheme such as cash disbursement to women, then this could prove to be a trump card, which will make it difficult for the opposition to find a solution. Anyway, by giving 33% reservation votes, Nitish Kumar has strengthened his control over the women vote bank to a great extent.
What would prove to be the final political journey – the opposition
However, the opposition said this would be Nitish’s last political journey. In this regard, former Chief Minister Rabri said that travel is everyone’s right. Neeraj Kumar, spokesperson of Nitish’s party JDU, said that after Nitish’s visit, RJD’s shops will be closed during the elections. Tejashwi, Chirag, Upendra, Kushwaha, Prashant Kishore have completed their round trip to Bihar. Now it is the turn of Nitish Kumar, who has been an expert in political touring.
