Srinagar, 9 July: The Rajbhasha Cell of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar organized a workshop on Wednesday to discuss challenges and solutions related to the implementation of the annual program released by the official language department on 2025-2026 and the implementation of official language policies.
The workshop was mainly attended by the Institute’s employees with the aim of promoting effective use of Hindi in official work. Mr. Prakash Chandra Mishra, Hindi Officer in Mannit Allahabad, chaired the session as the main resource person.
In his address, Mr. Mishra explained in detail on the major points of the annual program 2025-2026 and discussed various issues and practical solutions related to the implementation of Hindi in the institutions of the central government.
The workshop was mainly participated in the workshop online by the Non-Teaching Employees of NIT Srinagar and its purpose was to make employees sensitive about the importance of using Hindi in official work.

Speaking on the occasion, Registrar NIT Srinagar, Prof. Atikur Rahman appreciated the efforts of the Rajbsha Sale in continuously promoting the official language within the campus. He said that Rajbasha plays an important role in ensuring efficient communication and inclusion in government institutions.
Pro. Rahman encouraged employees to actively participate in such programs and assured full administrative assistance in making Hindi -related training and convenience facilitated. “Promoting Hindi in official work is not just a policy matter; it is a step towards cultural and administrative harmony,” he said.
Earlier, in -charge Hindi officer Dr. RP Shukla (Assistant Professor, Civil Engineering Department) informed the attendees about various activities of Rajbhasha Sale. He said that important efforts have been made in recent years to promote the use of Rajbhasha (Hindi) on the campus, and that many initiatives have been successfully implemented.

Hindi Anuvadak, Dr. Sabzar Ghani (coordinator of the workshop) cast a vote of thanks to the resource person and thanked the Hindi officers, participants, coordinators and staff members who contributed to the success of the incident.
The workshop concluded with an interactive Q&A session, during which the participants raised many practical questions about the use of Hindi in the formation of official letters, notes and formatting of documentation processes, and how to overcome the hesitation in using the language.
The resource person addressed every concern patiently and shared useful resources, techniques and examples to encourage the use of better and more confidence of Hindi.
Participants appreciated the initiative, described the workshop as informative, inspiring and highly relevant to their roles. (KDC)
