Former Republican ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley suspended her White House campaign on Wednesday, refusing to endorse former President Donald Trump but calling on him to win over moderates and independents who supported her in the primary.
“It’s up to Donald Trump to win the votes of those in our party and outside our party who don’t support him, and I hope he can do that,” Haley said in televised remarks in Charleston, South Carolina.
