The siblings fled to Thailand just hours after the tragedy in Arpora village on 6 December and were deported from that country on 17 December.
Their lawyer Parag Rao told reporters that the First Class Judicial Magistrate of Mapusa court has extended the police custody of Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra till December 29.
His initial 10-day remand ended on Friday.
Rao said his clients did not oppose extension of their custody as they wanted to cooperate with the investigating officer.
The Luthra family, who are currently in the custody of Anjuna police, were not in their nightclub when the fire broke out, he said.
Anjuna police have registered a case against the brothers under culpable homicide not amounting to murder and other crimes.
Eight people have been arrested so far, while the police have started the process of issuing a Blue Corner Notice against the accused British national Surinder Kumar Khosla, who has fled to the United Kingdom.
