The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday was conducting searches in several states as part of its investigation into a case related to illegal smuggling of arms from Uttar Pradesh to various parts of Bihar.

Officials said searches were being conducted at 22 locations in Haryana, Bihar and Haryana.

He said that this search is part of the investigation into smuggling of illegal ammunition from UP to various parts of Bihar.
