New Delhi, 27 April: Officially, after the Union Ministry (MHA) of the Ministry of Home Affairs (NIA), Home Affairs Order (MHA), has formally started the process of handling the case of Pahalgam terrorist attack, in which 26 were killed and many others were injured, official sources said.
A spokesperson said in a statement that the NIA team, which has been camping at the site of a terrorist attack since Wednesday, has intensified the search for evidence.
He said that the T-Anti-Terror Agency has been investigating eyewitnesses from an IG, an excavation and an SP, who saw a frightening attack in front of their eyes in peaceful and picturesque Baisaran Valley.
“Eyewitnesses are being interrogated in detail to connect the sequence of incidents together due to one of the worst terrorist attacks in Kashmir.” Reads the statement.
It states that the NIA teams are being investigated closely by examining the NIA teams for clues for the terrorists’ Modus Operanday.
Concluding the statement, the spokesperson said, “The teams aided by forensic and other experts, are fully examining the entire area for evidence to highlight the terrorist conspiracy, which caused the nation to shock the reason for that horrific attack.” It said in the statement. (KDC)
