A high-growing apartment building in New York Bronx Boro has partially collapsed after the gas explosion.
Explosion occurred in Ycha’s Mitchell houses on Alexander Avenue ABC 7,
There is no immediate report of injuries, but the first respondent is used to help in pursuing dogs and drones through debris, to ensure that no one was injured in collapse.
According to the New York Fire Department, the explosion inspired a consumed shaft associated with the building to collapse. 17-The rest of the floor building is left unaffected. At this time no apartment has been harmed.

New York Mayor Eric adams Said that he was aware of the situation and was monitoring the response.
“I have been informed about the emergency situation in the Mot Heaven area of the bronze.
A neighbor who called the city to report smoke near the building was a witness to the explosion and later collapse.




“I was explaining the woman I saw, and he liked, ‘Catch, let me move you to the fire department,” he told Wcbs. “Before she was about to transfer, the entire building bus – you heard a loud bouncing, and the thing bus burst. And it fell in the same way.”
Another resident told ABC 7 The explosion looked “like a bomb”.
A third resident said, “My mother was knocking at my door and we ran out as soon as possible. I had no shoes, but it seemed very important,” a third resident said.
In addition to the following. FDNY and NYPD, city building department and environmental protection department responded to the scene. Investigators determined that the explosion also destroyed an underground water main.
Con Edison has turned off the gas on the building site.
