New Redmi tablets, ANC Buds and more coming to India soon

Redmi is expected to launch a number of new products to the Indian market. A leak recently surfaced online listing the expected products from the Xiaomi sub-brand. It is expected to include personal use products as well as household appliances. The company has yet to officially confirm any of the rumored products. It recently launched the Redmi A3 in the country with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G36 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support, and an 8-megapixel dual rear camera unit.

Prompted by Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekd), at postal X (formerly Twitter) shared that Redmi may launch a new Redmi Pad model, new TWS earphones with active noise cancellation (ANC), and a self-cleaning vacuum cleaner. The source did not provide any other details about the products. Readers are advised to take this information with a grain of salt.

Recently, the Redmi Buds 5 were launched in India with 12.4mm dynamic drivers and 46dB ANC support. The earphones and charging case are said to provide up to 38 hours of total battery life on a single charge. It is available in Fusion Black, Fusion Purple and Fusion White color options and is priced at Rs. 2,999.

It is worth noting that Redmi plans to launch the Redmi Pad Pro in China on April 10. The tablet is expected to be available in black, blue, and gray color options. The upcoming Redmi Pad Pro will be available in graphite gray, mint green and moonlight silver colors like the Redmi Pad launched in India in October 2022. The tablet is priced at Rs. The 3GB + 64GB option is priced at Rs 14,999, while the 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB variants are priced at Rs. 17,999 and Rs.19,999 respectively.

The Redmi Pad comes with a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, an 8,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, a 10.61-inch 90Hz (2,000×1,200 pixels) display, and 8-megapixel front and rear cameras. It ships with MIUI 13 based on Android 12.
