FREDERICTON – New Breanswick will soon allow consumers to buy alcohol directly from some other provinces and areas.
The province says that changes in the liquor control act will be effective to develop the rules that identify Canadian courts participating in the government.
A news of the government today says that new rules also remove the limit of how much liquor people can bring in the province for personal consumption.
Change is a significant departure around alcohol from the previous rules of New Breanswick.
In April 2018, the province won a case against a person in the Supreme Court of Canada, a person fined a $ 300 to buy beer in Quebec and bring it to New Breanswick’s house.
But the trade war with the United States has inspired New Breanswicks and other parts of Canada to reduce interprewinsial trade barriers to help with the impact of tariffs.
