“I was sitting with this guy, grilling by the pool, talking to him about what a great day it was, and then he turned out to be a killer. Spencer Tepe’s employer reportedly called 911 on the morning of December 30, but he did not show up for work that day, and the Tepe family was found suffering from fatal gunshot wounds in their home. Audio obtained by Fox News Digital.

“Spencer and I work together and he didn’t show up to work this morning and we were unable to reach him or his family,” Athens Dental Clinic owner Mark Valros told dispatchers. “He was always on time and if there were any questions he would contact us… We were very, very concerned because it was very out of character for him and we couldn’t get through to his wife, which was probably the more concerning thing.”

That morning, a second call came in from someone saying they could hear children at Tepe’s home, but no one answered the door.

“I can hear kids in there, I swear, I think I hear someone yelling, but we can’t get in right now. I don’t know if I need to break in or just go in or what,” the caller said.

A friend of Spencer Tepe later called 911, saying they came to the house for a “wellness check” and saw a body inside.

“There’s a body,” the man can be heard saying. “Our friend didn’t answer the phone. We were just doing a wellness check. We just got here and he appeared to be dead. He was lying next to the bed, covered in blood. I couldn’t get close enough to see more.”

“I could tell he was obviously not breathing or anything,” the caller added.
