OTTAWA – NDP National Council is expected to meet on Thursday evening to change Jagmeet Singh to continue working on the rules for the upcoming leadership race.
Some people in the party, including former MPs, say that through the efforts that raise money in the race, it will help in covering the party’s campaign loan.
But the former party employees and groups behind the group are encouraging party members to transfer their donations to local electoral associations from the central party in an attempt to capture the NDP to retrieve Canada’s NDP.
Former BC NDP MP Rachel Blanne says that the central party can take “a hit of a hit” to promote local resources and increase the party’s base.
Former NDP senior strategist, Jordan Lichinitz, says this is a “self-torrent” attempt as the ride union cannot win elections without the Central Party Tantra.
The NDP received more than $ 3 million in the exemption from Canada after 2019 and 2021 campaigns, but less than 50 NDP candidates got the required 10 percent of the votes of the ride vote to be eligible for exemption this year.
