Patna, November 4 (IANS) Ahead of the much-awaited Bihar Assembly elections, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Tuesday said that the NDA government will once again be formed with its allies under the leadership of Nitish Kumar at the state level and the Modi government at the Centre.
This statement came when CM Yadav participated in BJP’s bike rally on the last day of election campaign in Bihar.
Speaking to IANS, Mohan Yadav said, “The only option is the NDA government. The NDA government will once again be formed with its allies under the leadership of Nitish Kumar at the state level and the Modi government at the Centre. There is no one in competition, why are you in a dilemma. The people of Bihar want development and progress, and the NDA is ready to take the state forward in partnership with the country.”
“People believe in the NDA government and they will ensure its victory once again,” he said.
Meanwhile, campaigning for the first phase of Bihar Assembly elections will end at 5 pm today in 121 constituencies across 18 districts. Voting for this phase will be held on November 6 amid tight security arrangements. Star campaigners and senior leaders of NDA, Grand Alliance and other political parties will make their last effort today to win the hearts of voters.
On the last day of election campaigning, leaders of various parties are expected to hold rallies, public meetings and road shows in several districts to strengthen the prospects of their candidates.
Bihar Assembly elections will be held in two phases on November 6 and November 11, with the counting of votes taking place on November 14.
The Election Commission of India has announced the schedule for the 243-member Assembly and now the Model Code of Conduct has come into force in the entire state. Voting will be held on 121 seats in the first phase and 122 seats in the second phase.
