Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday claimed that the NDA government will definitely win more than 400 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and return to power.

“There is no doubt that our government will be formed at the centre. I am confident that the NDA will win more than 400 seats,” he said, asking party workers to campaign for this goal before the polls.

Rajnath Singh also claimed that not only India but the whole world is aware of the likely outcome of the Lok Sabha elections and has accepted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will form the government again.

He said the Modi government had greatly improved the lives of the poor and provided them with concrete housing.

“If we are formed this time, there will not be any Kutch houses in Assam. All the residential units will be converted into pukas,” the senior BJP leader said.

He also mentioned various other central schemes related to water supply, electrification, health insurance, LPG connection and vaccination drive during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rajnath Singh lashed out at the Congress and claimed that the opposition party has neglected the Northeast for years.

“Only Modi has given due respect to this region. When he came to power in 2014, he directed all ministers to visit the Northeast at least three times a year to review the plans of their respective departments. Now, progress is very fast in the region,” added.

He claimed that what Congress could not do during its 15-20 years of ruling the Northeast, Modi has done in a short period of time by launching projects worth hundreds of millions of rupees in the region.

The defense minister further claimed that India’s position on the global platform has been consolidated during Modi’s tenure and unlike before, everyone listens to what India says.

“India is moving forward at a fast pace. Presidents and prime ministers of various countries have acknowledged that the 21st century will be India’s century,” he added.

Rajnath Singh asked all staff to personally visit old voters and first-time voters and explain to them what the Modi government has done for them and the country.

“The NDA government has been ruling the country for 10 years without any corruption charges against it or any of its ministers. We saw earlier that within 2-3 years of the Congress government’s rule, corruption charges started Influx,” he claimed.

Rajnath Singh asserted that India is influenced by its golden history and will be able to hold its head high if the NDA government returns to power.

“It was a golden bird once. Soon it will be a golden bird again. When Modi came to power, India was ranked 11th in the global economy. Now under Modi, India’s ranking has Reaching No. 5,” he added.

He said India will be among the top three by 2027 and become a developed country by 2047.

Rajnath Singh also claimed that the BJP-led NDA government has fulfilled all its promises, such as abrogating Article 370 and abolishing triple talaq among the Muslim community.

“We formed the government not to enjoy benefits but to build and serve society and the nation. This has nothing to do with communities like Hindus, Muslims and Christians. All are our brothers and sisters. Appeasement of other political parties may make one community happy, But India’s future is not happy,” he added.
