Nasir Khuhami selected JKSA National Convenor for third consecutive term

Prominent student leader Nasir Khoumi has been re -selected as the national convenor of the Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) for the third consecutive term.

His again is part of a comprehensive organizational reform following the three -day nationwide and successful conclusion of the International Election and Counseling Process run by the Election Association.

He was unanimously selected through a proper voting process. A total of 200 offices bear were elected during the three-day polling process. The association has more than 1,600 active members and volunteers in the country and abroad.

The purpose of restructuring is to infect fresh energy in the operation of the association, strengthening its long -standing commitment to the leadership of democratic functioning and ground level. Elections saw enthusiastic participation from student leaders and volunteers in India and abroad. As the student engagement has increased over the years, Jksa has emerged as the largest representative student body for students in Jammu and Kashmir, working in more than seventeen Indian states and center areas, as well as in many countries, including the United Kingdom, Gulf Nations, China, Iran and Europe.

Over the years, Khoomi has carried forward the association through several important stages, with the cancellation of Article 370, violence against Kashmiri students across India, Kovid -19 epidemic, and hundreds of students are involved in cases of crisis. Under his leadership, JKSA has greatly expanded his outreach, institutional support systems for students in crisis, facilitated withdrawal during emergency, offered legal aid, and offered forged partnership in political, administrative and civil society groups.

On its re -election, Khoomi stressed that Jksa will continue to maintain democratic values, serve as a trusted support system for needy students, and worked tirelessly to ensure that the youth of the region are empowered, protected and given platforms to flourish nationally and globally. Khuyami said, “I have been honored deeply with the belief on which the association has placed me in me.” “I will continue to try tirelessly for the welfare of the students, whether I keep the situation of power.”

He thanked the association and promised to maintain the responsibilities assigned to him, ensuring the continuous success of JKSA’s initiative. I vow to bridge the difference between students and their respective state governments and law enforcement agencies, which promotes a collaborative and supportive environment. Under his leadership, JKSA has played an important role in advocating the rights and welfare of students from Jammu and Kashmir who pursued education across India.

Khoomi vowes to continue these efforts, especially to ensure student safety, access to scholarship and ensure opportunities for empowerment.
