A massive fire broke out in the Pleasant Park area of ​​Mira Road (East) in the early hours of Saturday (December 13), causing panic among residents in several parts of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

In the visuals, a large area is seen engulfed in flames, with a plume of black smoke rising into the sky. In a widely circulated video, a resident recorded the fire from about 400 to 500 meters away from his home, showing the intensity of the fire. Many residents were seen gathering at a distance while emergency teams were tackling the fire.

A fire broke out near Jangid Estate in Mira-Bhayandar area, with huge flames and thick black smoke visible from several hundred meters away. Fire brigade and police teams reached the spot and officials continued extinguishing the fire for several hours to bring the situation under control. Police cordoned off the area to prevent injuries and allow emergency services unhindered access.

The exact cause of the fire has not been confirmed yet. Some reports suggested the fire may have been caused by a cylinder explosion, although officials said the cause was still being assessed. As of the latest updates, no injuries or casualties were reported, while officials continued to evaluate the extent of property damage.
