Multiple people, including a student, were shot after a shooting at an Oklahoma State University residence hall, police said.
OSU Police and Security said the shooting happened around 3:40 a.m. Sunday at Carrecker East Residence Hall.

According to OSU Police Chief Michael Beckner, all victims are being treated at hospitals in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
Neither the students nor any suspects have been publicly identified.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately clear.

Police said initial reports indicated the shooting occurred when some party-goers returned to the residence hall after “a large, private party” at an off-campus location.
They are urging people who do not live in residence halls to stay away from the area as law enforcement investigate the scene.
“There is no threat to the campus,” officials said.
The school is located in Stillwater, approximately 65 miles from Oklahoma City.
