Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani on Thursday, December 11, called on India’s youth to take responsibility for shaping the country’s future, especially at a time of intense global competition in emerging technologies.

He was speaking at the 13th convocation of Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) in Gandhinagar.

Addressing the graduating class, Ambani said the world is facing economic uncertainty, with the global economy growing at less than 2%, while India is growing at around 8%. He said, “There is a decline in confidence all around, but India is full of development and confidence.”

Ambani cautioned that geopolitical changes have created new challenges, making it necessary for India to strengthen its capabilities in critical technologies and key industries. He stressed that the country must achieve self-reliance atmanirbharta such as in advanced areas Artificial intelligence, new energy, nuclear fusion, biotechnology and space technology.

“There is intense global competition in these sectors right now. In this sector, jo jeeta wahi sikander,Ambani commented, saying that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he believes that “India.” jeetegaBharat will come soonBharat the world will change(India will win, move forward, change the world,)”

He also reflected on the rise of AI and tools like ChatGPT, noting that while technology can provide answers, true leadership will come from those who ask the right questions.

“In today’s world, ChatGPT can give you answers, but only you can ask the right questions. In the age of AI, the person with the most answers is smart, but the person with the best questions is the best leader,” he told the students.
