Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani said the company has invested more than ₹3.5 lakh crore in the last five years and announced plans to double that commitment to ₹7 lakh crore in the next five years.

He described this as an unprecedented scale of investment which reflects Reliance’s long-term commitment towards growth and development.

Speaking at Vibrant Gujarat, Ambani said Reliance is building the world’s largest integrated clean energy ecosystem in Jamnagar, adding that the city, which was once India’s largest exporter of hydrocarbon energy, will now emerge as the largest exporter of green energy in the country and green materials from Gujarat.

He said the company’s multi-gigawatt, utility scale solar project, the largest globally, will provide clean power around the clock through advanced storage solutions and modern grid integration, strengthening India’s green energy ambitions and strengthening Gujarat’s leadership in renewable energy.

He also said that Reliance is developing India’s largest AI ready data center in Jamnagar with the aim of making artificial intelligence affordable and accessible to every Indian.

Ambani said that Jio will soon launch the first people intelligence platform which will be built in India, for India and for the world.

On sports infrastructure, Ambani said Reliance Foundation is fully aligned with the Prime Minister’s vision of bringing the 2036 Olympics to Ahmedabad. In a concrete step, Reliance will partner with the Government of Gujarat to manage the Veer Savarkar Multi Sports Complex at Naranpura, which will serve as a hub for hosting national and international sporting events and training India’s future champions.

Referring to global developments, Ambani said the world is changing rapidly and geopolitical tensions are creating new challenges and unexpected turbulence.

He said India is untouched by these pressures due to what he described as an invincible protective wall under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Describing this as India’s defining decade, Ambani said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the country is not only preparing for the future, but is also actively shaping it.
