Chennai Super Kings’ IPL 2024 journey came to a sad end after they lost against Royal Challengers Bangalore and crashed out of the tournament. After CSK’s exit, one question that came to everyone’s mind was about the future of MS Dhoni. The 42-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman, who was already battling a knee injury during the season, was speculated to have called time on his career if CSK had won the IPL 2024 title in Chennai. However, RCB dashed the dreams of Dhoni’s departure and at present there is no confirmation regarding his future.
CSK’s journey is over, Dhoni is now taking leave from cricket for some time. Recently, the former CSK captain boarded an economy class flight from Bengaluru to Ranchi, leaving his co-passengers in awe.

Earlier, in a video uploaded by CSK, Dhoni had stressed on the need to recruit the right players for the team instead of big names.
“Fear is very important. You need that fear because unless, if I don’t have fear inside me, I can never be brave. You know, I can never be courageous. So I always felt that fear was important. “Pressure is important. It’s important because it helps me take the right decisions keeping everything in mind. If I’m scared, you know, a lot of people talk that I’m fearless,” Dhoni said. Said in a video uploaded by CSK.

We want him to take a step towards the team’s goal and we’re happy to take three steps towards him. But let’s say that is not the case.
