Bhopal/Patna, October 16 (IANS) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will actively campaign for National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidates in the high-voltage Bihar assembly elections.
According to details shared from the Madhya Pradesh BJP office, CM Yadav will address two election rallies on Thursday – one in Kumhrar assembly constituency of Patna Sahib and the other in Bikram constituency of Patna district.
Along with Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, about 100 BJP leaders from Madhya Pradesh have been deployed for the Bihar Assembly elections. Most of the ministers who have been entrusted with the responsibility for Bihar elections have started moving towards the state.
Senior BJP leaders from the state who will campaign in Bihar include former MP BJP chief VD Sharma, former home minister Narottam Mishra, former minister Arvind Singh Bhadoria, minister Vishwas Sarang and general secretary (organisation) Hitanand Sharma and many others.
Voting for the 243-member Bihar Assembly will be held on November 6 and 11. The results will be declared on 14 November.
On Wednesday, PM Modi, while addressing booth level workers of BJP in Bihar, said that it was the power of people’s votes that had saved the state from the ‘evil eye’ of RJD and Congress in the last elections.
“On the day of counting (November 14, 2025), NDA will win again,” the PM said. He urged BJP workers to reach every household to spread awareness about the schemes launched by the Center and the Nitish Kumar government. He also gave the slogan “United NDA, united Bihar – this will form a government of good governance”.
The BJP also released its third list of 18 candidates on Wednesday for the Bihar Assembly elections to be held in November. With this list, the BJP has announced candidates for all the 101 assembly seats that it got under the seat-sharing arrangement in the NDA.
Chirag Paswan-led Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) released its first list of 14 candidates. There are two women candidates and three from the SC community in the list.
