Bhopal: On the first day of Navratri, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will lead an awareness campaign in the state with new rates of GST (Goods and Services Tax) reforms launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which came into force from Monday.
The Chief Minister will kick the awareness campaign by meeting with local shopkeepers at the historic Chowk market of Bhopal, later at 2.30 pm, he will interact with local shopkeepers at Somwara Chowk and address the meeting.
Sharing information about his social media handle, CM Yadav wrote on X, “I will participate in ‘Next Jane GST Promotion Campaign’ held in Bhopal. On this occasion, #NextGENGST reforms will also be discussed with fellow traders and general public.”
The Chief Minister will also visit the Curfew Wali Mata Temple and offer prayers and will bless Sharadia Navratri on the occasion of the ambush.
Subsequently, CM Yadav will travel a walk from the police post to Deepli saree inside the Chowk Bazaar. The Chief Minister will distribute copies of GST resolution (tag as GST reforms of the new generation by the ruling BJP) and address their questions and concerns related to GST.
During the campaign, CM Yadav will also purchase indigenous handlooms and khadi clothes and promote digital payment systems by providing information about various payment methods.
Later, Chief Minister Motilal Mannulal will reach Dharamshala, where he will have talks with about 300 delegates of trade, commerce and social organizations.
During the conversation, information will be shared about how the recent GST rate cuts by the central government will benefit both buyers and sellers. This awareness campaign will continue as the government has decided to take the message of GST reforms for people living in every corner of the state.
Apart from the government, BJP’s state unit will also organize similar campaigns in all districts and blocks.
In particular, Mohan Yadav -led government and the state BJP unit have made a detailed plan to run the campaign during the ongoing ‘Seva Pakhwada’.
The government and the party (BJP) will also conduct indigenous campaigns in the state. During a meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence on Saturday, a detailed plan for GST and Swadeshi campaign was discussed in Madhya Pradesh, which was monitored by BJP’s National Joint General Secretary Shiv Prakash.
