More than 2 lakh devotees travel Amarnath till now: LG Sinha

The annual Sri Amarnathji Yatra has crossed an important milestone, in which more than 2 lakh pilgrims have made a holy journey so far this year.

Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha welcomed the moment and raised heartfelt greetings to the devotees. LG said in a statement, “With the blessings of Baba Amarnath ji, the Holy Pilgrimage has crossed the 2 lakh mark today. It is a holy journey of a lifetime, and I welcome all the devotees to experience every Mahadev to find and experience divinity.”

The pilgrimage, which began between tight safety and logical system, sees a stable flow of Yatris from across the country, breaks the challenging terrain to pay obedience in the holy cave temple.

The administration has ensured the smooth operation of travel with increased facilities, medical aid and round-the-clock monitoring for the safety and convenience of pilgrims.
