More than 2.15 crore farmers of Uttar Pradesh will benefit from the 21st installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN). An official statement issued here on Tuesday said Rs 4,314.26 crore is being transferred directly into their bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
It said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 21st installment of PM Kisan from Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) on Wednesday.
As yet,
Rs 90,354.32 crore (up to the 20th installment) has been deposited in the accounts of farmers of UP through PM Kisan Yojana.
On Wednesday, 2,15,323 farmers of the state will benefit from the 21st installment of PM Kisan.
Every eligible farmer family receives financial assistance 6,000 per year, disbursed in three installments through DBT directly into the beneficiary’s bank account.
The total amount of this installment is 4,314.26 crore.
