Officials said more than ten Amarnath pilgrims were injured after three vehicles collided during the movement of a visit convoy in Khudawani area of Kulgam along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
An official said a convoy leading to Baltal was found on the highway with an accident near the Tachlu crossing, when three buses collided with each other.
He said that more than ten people suffered injuries and were transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment.
A doctor at the Kimoh Hospital told KNO that about nine injured pilgrims were given first aid in a pass facility and later transferred to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag.
The doctor said, “They all have minor injuries and are in a stable position. He was sent to GMC for further medical treatment and necessary formalities,” the doctor said- (KNO)
