Modi government has brought Arunachal Pradesh to the peak of progress: HM Shah

Itanagar, 22 September (IANS) Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Monday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-Left government has brought Arunachal Pradesh to the peak of progress.

On being taken to the social media platform X, HM Shah wrote: “The Modi government inspired Arunachal Pradesh to be taken to the peak of progress. Along with two major hydroelectric projects, along with many development programs by PM Shri Narendra Modi ji, along with many development programs, is a symbol of a historical occasion today.”

The Home Minister said, “Electricity generation, healthcare, connectivity and welfare projects will add a new inspiration for the development of Arunachal Pradesh, which is exploiting the actual capacity of the state. Thank you for the projects.”

The development of North Eastern Region (Donor) Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia was first stated in a separate post that these projects, for which the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone in Itanagar on Monday, will create employment and opportunities for the youth, strengthen our culture and heritage, and will strengthen our culture and heritage, and develop new energy emotionally and socially in the development of my North Eastern region.

On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for 13 development projects worth more than Rs 5,127 crore in Arunachal Pradesh at a large public rally at Indira Gandhi Park in Itanagar.

Out of about 13 infrastructure projects during an event at Indira Gandhi Park in Itanagar, two major hydro power projects with a total generation capacity of 426 MW will be commissioned by the state -owned North East Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO).

According to a state government official, both these power projects at an estimated cost of more than Rs 3,700 crore are being developed by Neepco in a joint venture with the Government of Arunachal Pradesh.

The two projects are the 186-Magawat generation capacity Tato-I Hydroelectric Project and a 240-Magawat generation capacity HEO hydroelectric project on the Yarajep River in Shi Yomi district, and the total annual generation capacity will be 1,803 million units.

The Prime Minister also addressed a large public meeting at Indira Gandhi Park in the capital city. An official said that after the commission of two power plants, the state will get free power of more than Rs 98 crore and said an official for community development of local area development fund over Rs 16 crore every year.

PM Modi also laid the foundation stone for a state -of -the -art integrated conference center in Tawang.

The convention center will be built for Rs 147 crore. In addition to organizing meetings, conferences and exhibitions, the proposed integrated conference center will facilitate livelihood opportunities in tourism, services and handicrafts, the official said.

The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone for 10 infrastructure projects worth Rs 1,291 crore. Infrastructure projects also include the 1,830-Cm Frontier Highway Project and the second phase of the Vibrant Village Program (VVP).
