Mobile phone will ring out with an alarm as this September Government Tesks its emergency alert system.
The emergency warning system will be tested at around 3 pm on September 7, its second ever in nationwide drill.
The system was first tested, was in April 2023, but some mobile phone users warned that their equipment was not sounded, in which the specific network was detected.
Emergency warnings are used to warn whether there is any danger to life nearby, in examples such as extreme weather.
During the test, about 87 million mobile devices of the UK will exit with a high pitch alarm and vibrate for about 10 seconds, while a message will appear on the screen. It will clarify that the warning is only a test.
