Ministry of Culture orders closure of galleries under National Museum for visitors from today in view of rising COVID-19 infections

 

New Delhi, Janu 5: The Ministry of Tradition has ordered the closure of all of the galleries beneath the Nationwide Museum in New Delhi for guests from Wednesday in view of rising COVID-19 infections.
“Nationwide Museum, New Delhi is a main cultural establishment of India beneath the Ministry of Tradition, Authorities of India. In view of the evolving state of affairs because of the unfold of the COVID-19 pandemic and as per the order vide No.60/DDMA/Covid-19/2021/500 dated 28-12-2021, issued by the Authorities of NCT of Delhi, Delhi Catastrophe Administration Act 2005, all of the galleries of Nationwide Museum shall stay closed for guests from (right now) January 5, 2022, until additional order within the public curiosity”, learn the discharge from Ministry of Tradition.
“Nevertheless, all of the departments of the Nationwide Museum will stay open as per DoPT, GoI’s order and all protocols of Covid-19 shall be adopted”, the discharge added.
