Chief football writer Delaney was named football writer of the year at a ceremony in central London on Monday evening.
While Cleary, who leads Independent Studios’ The Adam Cleary football channel, was recognized for Social Media Player of the Year.
The awards received over 400,000 votes, making the FSA Awards the largest supporter-led awards show in the country.
Delaney has enjoyed an excellent 2025 while leading of independent Football coverage, including England’s stunning victory over Spain on penalties in the Women’s Euro 2025 final.

Cleary leads ACFC, whose YouTube channel has attracted more than 182,000 subscribers for its weekly tactical analysis and insight into the Premier League and beyond.

Declan Rice attended the ceremony after the Arsenal star won the Men’s Player of the Year award, beating off stiff competition from Erling Haaland (Manchester City), Antoine Semenyo (AFC Bournemouth), Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace), Moises Caicedo (Chelsea) and Ryan Gravenberch (Liverpool).
“It’s a huge privilege to receive the FSA Player of the Year award considering the players I compete against,” Rice said. “To be recognized by the supporters, to vote for me to win, it’s really very special so I can’t thank them enough. The men’s team and the women’s team, we’ve been recognized in a lot of different ways and we want to be right there, winning things on and off the field.”
Alessia Russo won the Women’s Player of the Year award ahead of Chelsea’s Erin Cuthbert and Millie Bright, Maya Le Tissier (Manchester United), Yui Hasegawa (Manchester City) and her own team-mate Mariona Caldenti.
“Thank you to all the fans who voted, it means a lot,” Russo said. “It was an incredible summer, some incredible months, winning the Champions League and the Euros. Hopefully it has inspired us to keep winning because that’s what it’s all about!”
