Met police used live facial recognition technology to make 1,000 arrests

Metropolitan Police Live Facial Recognition (LFR) has released footage of arrests using technology, which has managed to lead more than 1,000 people to arrest London,

On Friday (July 4), the clips shared by The Force showed recent arrests, which are being used by officers using new technology.

Three persons can be caught by the police in body-cams footage, shown chasing a suspect on a bike before arresting the authorities with a clip on charges of theft.

Technology works by comparing its face against the list of desired criminals and capturing live footage of people comparing their face.
