The trailer for a new documentary on First Lady Melania Trump, screening today in theaters in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and across Canada, features the teaser line “Everyone wants to know, so here it is.”

The Cineplex website says the film provides “unprecedented access” to that time period through the eyes of the first lady.

“Step inside the world of Melania Trump as she plans the inauguration, deals with the complexities of transitioning to the White House, and re-enters public life with her family,” the promotion reads.

“With exclusive footage capturing important meetings, private conversations and never-before-seen environments, Mrs. Trump returns to one of the most powerful roles in the world.”

Cineplex told CityNews the film will play at four theaters in the GTA, but would not comment on ticket sales.

A company spokesperson said, “As a publicly traded company, we do not disclose specific numbers or insights about ticket sales.”

melaniaAmazon, produced by MGM Studios for a reported $40 million, will be streamed exclusively on Amazon Prime Video after its theatrical release.

“It’s beautiful, it’s emotional, it’s fashionable, it’s cinematic and I’m very proud of it,” the 55-year-old first lady said at the Trump Kennedy Center inauguration ceremony on Thursday.
