Srinagar, June 6: People’s President of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Mehboba Mufti, on the occasion of Eid al-Aadha greeted the region and the people of the nation, who emphasize sacrifice, circulation and unity, emphasizing the values of festival sacrifice.
In a press statement released on Friday, Mufti called upon Eid al-Dhaya’s reflection on teachings, which is inspired by the spirit of devotion and selflessness. He urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to strengthen the bond of brotherhood amid the challenges going on in the region and work towards peace and harmony.
Highlighting the need for justice, Mufti appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to order prisoners, especially the immediate release of the youth, to mark the occasion with a human gesture, especially young, with doubt or without serious allegations. He said, “Such an act will reflect the essence of this festival, rebuild the trust, and demonstrate a commitment to communication and harmony,” he said, he said, prolonged separation in custody without enough evidence and obstruct peace efforts in Jammu and Kashmir.
