Meghan Markle recalls getting important advice before marrying Prince Harry

Meghan Markle shared the beautiful advice she received about creating a balanced life before marrying Prince Harry.

For those unaware, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently in Nigeria for an unofficial royal visit.

On May 11, Meghan appeared with her husband for a panel discussion that focused on women in leadership.

Talking about her old days as an actress, the former working royal shared, “When I was on season one Suit, so it was a long time ago. Now I know the show is getting a revival, but that was a long time ago. Let’s say maybe a decade ago.”

He continued to share advice from Bonnie Hammer, who runs NBCUniversal.

Meghan shared, “She was a huge mentor, continues to be a huge mentor to me. And I remember feeling privileged when she invited me to breakfast and I thought it was the biggest deal in the world “

“And I asked him that exact question. I said, ‘How do you find balance?’ And she said, ‘Don’t do that, you’ll never be able to balance,'” said the mother of two.

“And this is before I got married, this is before I had kids, this is before there was definitely a plot twist in all the things in my life,” Meghan said.

However, the Duchess shared that with time, one will master the art of maintaining balance at different stages of life.
