Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly considering entering politics ahead of the upcoming election in the United States.

according to MirrorThe Duke and Duchess of Sussex are preparing to join forces with “Hollywood powerhouses” to warn voters of “deep fake attacks.”

It is understood the couple are using their Archewell Foundation to launch a campaign to protect voters from election misinformation.

It is described as a “bipartisan coalition backed by powerful figures in Hollywood as well as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Archewell Foundation”. They will work together to “prepare American voters for possible deep fake attacks during an election year.”

The campaign will begin around the time of the 2024 US presidential election, scheduled for November 5.

Experts previously warned voters to beware of “malign state actors and domestic political operatives” who will use deepfake technology to manipulate them.

This isn’t the first time Harry and Meghan have shown their shared interest in politics. The couple previously sparked backlash for their political efforts during the last US election.

They released a video and encouraged voters in a joint statement to “reject hate speech, misinformation and online negativity.”

Additionally, the Suits actor has often been tipped to join U.S. politics due to her leanings into social and political issues around the world.
