“Indian citizens and people of Indian origin in Iran who need help can contact emergency numbers of India’s Embassy in Iran,” wrote on X by MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal.

India’s embassy in Iran wrote on X, “All Indian citizens and individuals of Indian origin in Iran are requested to be cautious, avoid all unnecessary movements, follow the social media accounts of the embassy and inspect the security protocol as per the advice by the local authorities.”
