As Pune is set to host the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, NCP MLA Rohit Pawar, the president of the Maharashtra Cricket Association, Saturday said the Word Cup Trophy will be displayed at the Agriculture College Ground at Shivajinagar on September 26.

Addressing a press conference in the industrial city, Rohit Pawar said Gahunje international stadium will be holding five World Cup matches.
“On September 26, the ICC World Cup Trophy is coming to Pune…After this, on the same day it will be displayed at the Agriculture College ground in Shivajinagar. Cricket lovers will be able to see the trophy from close quarters and can even take seflies.”
”A parade of the ICC World Cup Trophy will be held in Pune. The rally will begin at 1 pm from Hotel J W Mariott… The trophy will be displayed from 4.30 pm to 6 pm,” the MCA chief said.
