The outlet emphasized that at the moment, there is no evidence that the footage was somehow “misleading manipulated”, but says it was somewhat modified.
“Instead of direct export from the prison monitoring system, the footage was modified, possibly using the professional editing tool Adobe Premier Pro,” Wired found.
“The file appears to be assembled from at least two source clips, saved several times, exported, and then uploaded on the DOJ website, where it was presented as ‘Raw’ footage.”

The editing of the video should not be completely surprising as DOJ told us from the beginning that they were increasing the video to make it easier to watch.
