A historic skyscraper in the capital of Croatia zagreb Almost completely destroyed by a massive fire.
No injuries were reported in the fire, which broke out near the top of the 16-floor Vgesnik Tower late Monday and spread rapidly downwards.
The building, named after a popular newspaper published there, was largely vacant at the time of the fire.

“I am confident that the state and other owners will begin renovating the building at this prominent location in our city as soon as possible.”
The building reportedly collapsed due to the fire, which spread through the ventilation shaft.
