Martin Lewis Employees are urged to check their tax laws immediately or face a potential “nightmare” later.
talking about Martin Lewis Podcast On Friday (January 16), he said millions in tax laws were wrong but it was up to employees, not employers or HMRC, to make sure they were correct.
Lewis says the wrong tax code can cause you to pay too much or too little in taxes, which is equally bad.
He explains that if you pay too little in taxes, you’ll eventually have to pay the difference. “You could get a big tax bill slapped in the face and not have the cash to pay it, which is a nightmare.”
