Data collected as part of the figure published by ONs Crime survey for England and WalesThis increased the number of crimes against individuals and houses in England and Wales to about 9.4 million in the year ending March 2025.

The theft from the crimes of the individual remains at a record level, with 151,220 by the forces in the last 12 months to March in March to March.
Meanwhile, the number of housewives declined by six percent, which occurred at the lowest level of 535 crimes recorded in more than a decade.
The Independent has put the maps given below together by the police force areas in England and Wales, showing the total crime, housewives, sexual offenses and shopkeeping:
Metropolitan Police The highest number of crimes were registered last year, entering London with 942,674 offenses.
Greater Manchester Police Only with more than 319,000 offenses, while West Middlendes Police The third highest came with around 309,000.
at the other extreme, City of London PoliceCovering the small financial district, the lowest crime was recorded in any force.
Cumbria Constabulary had about 37,000 offenses, and Dyfed-Powys in Wales were approximately 38,000 logs.
The Metropolitan police also saw the most housewives, with 104 murders a year. West Midlands Police recorded 31, and Greater Manchester Police reported 27.
The country’s largest police force also saw the most sexual offenses, with incidents recorded more than 55,000. West Yorkshire Police Around 46,000 came forward, followed by Greater Manchester Police with around 43,500.
Shoplifting was also concentrated in the largest metropolitan areas. London again topped the list with around 94,000 offenses, the West Midlands Police registered around 32,700, and the West Yorkshire Police logged around 22,700 incidents.
Retail owners have warned that the official figures are likely to be the tip of the iceberg, and the shop owners need to see immediate results as ministers have pledged thousands of more officers for neighborhood policing.
ONS said that because these estimates are still in development and are subject to change, caution should be taken when comparing between two years, and it is not possible to say whether the difference is statistically important.

Crime survey for England and Wales includes theft, robbery, criminal damage, misuse and injury or without any individual and domestic-based offenses, but it does not include sexual offenses, pursuit, harassment and domestic misuse, which are presented separately.
Experiences with or without injury to theft, criminal damage and injury, as measured by the ONS survey, is on a broad below trend from the mid -1990s.
