Many MVA leaders unreachable as insurgents escalate tensions in Maharashtra, Mahayutthi

Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024

The battle for the assembly elections in Maharashtra has begun. Today is the last day to withdraw nomination papers for the parliamentary elections. There are only a few hours left now. On the one hand, efforts are being made to counteract the dissatisfaction of the rebel candidates of Mahayoti and Maha Vikas Aghadi. Meanwhile, some rebel candidates have become out of reach. Therefore, the leaders of Maha Vikas Aghadi and Maha Yuti were in a lot of trouble. Efforts are currently underway to contact these candidates.

According to Marathi TV9, Amit Ghoda, the rebel BJP candidate from Palghar assembly constituency, has not been contacted yet. Mahayut has three rebel candidates in the Palghar district, but they have not been able to be contacted. Among them, the first place is Amit Ghoda, the second place is Prakash Nikam and the third place is Jagdi Dhodi. The three could not be reached at this time. As a result, Mahayuthi’s headache worsened. Under this circumstance, some people are now questioning whether the three rebel candidates will withdraw their nominations? It will be interesting to see.

There are also issues with Devlali and Dindori seats.

When Rajshree Ahirrao was the NCP candidate from Deolali constituency in Nashik, the Shiv Sena flew and sent him an AB form. Even though Dhanraj Mahale was the NCP candidate from Dindori seat, the Shiv Sena gave him AB form. Today is the last day to withdraw your nomination form. But confusion ensued due to a lack of contact between the two candidates. Neither candidate could be reached at this time.

Unable to contact Avinash lad

Apart from this, there was huge unrest in the Ratnagiri-Rajapur constituency on the day the nomination papers were withdrawn. Congress district president and rebel candidate Avinash Lad could not be reached. Due to lack of contact with Avinash Ladde, it is speculated that the rebellion will continue in the Rajapur Assembly constituency. If Avinash Lade insists on contesting the election, the problems of Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena candidate Rajan Salvi will increase. There was a rebellion in the Congress party in the Rajapur parliamentary constituency. The seat, which is being vacated by Uddhav Thackeray’s candidate Rajan Salvi, is strongly contested by the Congress.

In Vikramgarh too, the headache for party stalwarts has intensified.

Prakash Nikam, the independent candidate for Vikramgarh Congress in Palghar district, could not be reached. Prakash Nikam is the president of Palghar Zilla Parishad. Prakash Nikam is unreachable since yesterday. Due to the retreat of loyal ministers and the distortion of their predecessors, a rebellion broke out within the Grand Alliance. Disgruntled officials filed nomination papers and raised the flag of rebellion. Thus, Mahayuthi was overshadowed by the rebellion. Prakash Nikam has submitted his candidature to Mahayuti candidate Harishchandra Bhoye from Vikramgarh Assembly qualifications.

The rebel candidate of the BJP is also unable to contact Hingoli

In Hingoli, the leader of the BJP rebels, Ramdas Patil Sumanthkar, became out of reach. Ramdas Patil defies the BJP and files independent candidature to Hingoli Assembly. He has also resigned from the party. Apart from this, Ramdas Patil Sumanthkar is yet to come online on the last day of withdrawing his application. The Grand Alliance has named BJP MP Tanaji Mutkule as its candidate for Hingoli Assembly.

Unable to contact Rajesh Ratkar

Tension increased in Kolhapur Congress. Rebel candidate Rajesh Latkar could not be reached. Rajesh Latkar said he is committed to contesting the elections from Kolhapur North. It is learned that Rajesh Latkar has been missing since morning, leaving the party leaders surprised. In an effort to clear up resentment, MPs Sahu Chhatrapati and Madhurima Raje Chhatrapati also met Latkar, but this had no impact on him.
