Imphal, September 18 (IANS) Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Wednesday asked all people to embrace the spirit of “nation before” and contribute to their thoughts, energy and enthusiasm, for the creation of a Manipur that stands as a model of development, harmony and progress.
Starting “Nation First @75 campaign” under Vikasi Bharat, appealing to the people of Wikasit Manipur, Manipur in Imphal, especially to youth and women, the governor urged the governor to active participation in these initiatives.
On the occasion, the Governor also launched five major initiatives and services – Govconnect Manipur Grievance Redressal Portal, Initiative to strengthen the Manipur Milk Union, Migration Support Center at Delhi, Bangalore, and Hyderabad, Housing Skill Development Program for Cabin Crew Placement, and four digital services and portals of the Department of Transport.
Regarding the migration aid centers, the Governor referred to his importance in helping the skilled youth of Manipur to secure appropriate employment in major cities through partnership with stakeholders.
At the residential skill development program for cabin crew placements, he described it as a special program in collaboration with major airlines, which was designed to provide world -class training and provide global career opportunities for Manipuri youth.
He further said that the launch of four new services and portals of the Transport Department will modernize and increase the efficiency.
Highlighting the transformative nature of the initiative on “Govconnect Manipur”, Bhalla said that it would serve as a comprehensive public grievance portal that enhances civil-government interactions, bring transparency, accountability and Swift resolution.
Regarding strengthening the Manipur Milk Union, he stressed his role in increasing rural livelihood and nutritional security, underlining the central role of women in the dairy sector of Manipur, while underlining the central role of women.
As part of the National Dairy Development Board initiative to promote dairy production in Manipur, the Governor checked the Manipur Milk Union for Rs 5 crore and inaugurated the 2 Fort Bulk Milk Cooling Center in Kaking.
He also distributed certificates to three selected cabin crew trainees. The governor said, as India celebrates 75 years as a republic, the program is a symbol of the country’s unwavering commitment to progress and keep civil welfare at the forefront.
Taking inspiration from the point of view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that the Manipur government is starting activities in coordination with the Health Nari Sashkat Parivavar Abhiyan (SNSPA) campaign launched by the Prime Minister on Wednesday.
From 17 September to 2 October, while the SNSPA campaign will focus on women’s health on more than 350 public health facilities, “The Nation First @75 campaign” will implement activities in rural development, environment, skilling, fitness, entrepreneurship, self -reliance, Fit India, PMZANM, Acresy District, and local/make activities in India. In the alignment with the SNSPA campaign, a special focus will be focused on women empowerment.
