Manchester United held a minute silence in tribute to the victims of the synagogue attack

A similar tribute is being paid against Chelsea on Friday night’s women’s super league game of Manchester United, Manchester City’s Women’s Super League against Arsenal on Saturday and Manchester City’s Premier League match in Brentford on Sunday.

Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim said, “This is a crazy world that we are living in a moment, many of these things are happening.”

“Of course, our sympathy is for the victims and we will pay tribute tomorrow. But it is a crazy world at this moment.”

The suspect, the police, were shot by the authorities after the attack, named Jihad al-Shami.
