Man was arrested after a cyclist killed in a collision near the pub

A person was arrested after the death of a cyclist in a collision in a warster in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The West Mercia police received a report at 5 am that a white and blue Dassia Napkat, who traveled towards Droitwich on A38, had collided with a cyclist near Elm Pub.

The cyclist, a person in his thiris, died on the spot. A 51 -year -old man has been arrested on suspicion of death due to dangerous driving and being suspected of police custody.

Sergeant Darin Van-Royin of the Force Rhodes Policing Team said: “Our views are with the man’s family after this morning’s collision.

He said, “We are currently making many inquiries and are willing to talk to anyone who may have seen the conflict, or who may have already seen a bicycle or car,” he said.
