Officials have issued a Canada-wide warrant for a 34-year-old man, which is in connection with the investigation of the ongoing murder.
On June 11, emergency employees responded to the fire of a house in the area of Primroz Court and Fairport Road in Pickening at around 2:20 pm.
Inside the house, the fire brigade located the body of a 69 -year -old woman, who was declared dead on the spot. After a post -mortem examination, the Durham Regional Police Homeoid Unit handled the matter.
Last month, the police arrested and accused 34 -year -old Sandra Cottinho of Pickering along with Gunon after the fact of the murder.
Investigators are now looking for another suspect, who has been identified as 34 -year -old Eluston Cottinho. He wants to kill a second degree.
Police said in a news release, “At this time, investigators believe it is a separate incident and there is no threat to public safety.”
