The Toronto Police has arrested a person in connection with the alleged sexual attack of a 12 -year -old girl aboard a TTC subway train.
The incident took place on July 13 near Danforth Go near Main Street and Danforth Avenue around 10 am. Police say the girl was riding the metro when she was approached by a man and sexually assaulted.
Witnesses observing the conversation approached the police and told the suspect when the officials reached the spot. According to the police, the girl did not suffer physical injuries.
60 -year -old Toronto’s 60 -year -old Shahzad Sherjay was accused of sexual harassment and sexual harassment for sexual intervention. He appeared in court on Monday.
Investigation is on, and anyone is asked to contact the police with information.
