Man raped after being stabbed on night out claims police told him ‘but you’re a bloke’

A man who was raped after a night out drinking claims police told him “but you’re a bloke” when he reported the incident.

Stephen Hart, who tested positive for rape after testing positive for rape, told Good Morning Britain on Thursday (April 3) about his horrific experience to raise awareness.

Mr Hart explained how Rohypnol was spiked into his drink while out with friends in 2006. He lost consciousness and woke up to find himself covered in blood.

His rapist remains at large.

Responding to Mr. Hart. Minister for Victims and Safeguarding Laura Farris MP said: “We are taking a range of wider steps, including updating statutory guidance, to better support victims and bring perpetrators to justice.”
