An Afghan man has been remanded in custody after being charged murder of dog walker In West London.
Safi Dawood attended Westminster Magistrates’ Court On Thursday he was charged with the murder of Wayne Broadhurst as well as two counts of attempted murder.

He was arrested at the scene on Monday, but required hospital treatment after “suffering a medical episode”, and was later taken back into custody, police said.
Dawood was remanded in custody on Thursday and will appear at the Old Bailey within the next 48 hours.
Neighbors paid tribute to the victim. “I have been here for two years and I have seen him passing by the window,” said a neighbor on condition of anonymity.
He described him as “the last person on Earth you would think someone would go to”.
She said she took some flowers and a box of shortbread for his wife and added: “I still can’t get over it.
“If he had been letting the dog out five or 10 minutes later, would it have been the same?”
A local resident told the Daily Mail, “He is quite popular here. He is a lovely boy, very gentle and peaceful.”
The managing director of Broadhurst’s workplace paid tribute to him as a “dedicated member of our team”.
Katerina Pohansennikova, of Greener Ealing Ltd, which provides waste services to Ealing Council, said in a statement: “This is a devastating loss. Wayne was a respected and dedicated member of our team who made a real contribution to the work we do and the residents we serve.”
On Tuesday night a group of about 100 mourners gathered near police tape at the junction between Midhurst Gardens and Leybourne Road to lay flowers, and some also lit candles.
