Mumbai:
Mumbai Police on Monday arrested a 42-year-old man for repeatedly raping his relative and impregnating her, an official said.
The accused allegedly raped the 21-year-old woman multiple times at his home in suburban Bandra here and the abuse came to light when she was found two months old, the officer said.
The accused used to call the woman to his house for work in the absence of his wife and rape her. They also threatened her of dire consequences if she told anything to anyone.
A case has been registered against the man under section 376 (rape) of the Indian Penal Code and other relevant provisions, the officer said.
