Man alleged in connection with the death of 2022 prisoner illegally detained in Montreal

Montreal- A person has been accused of death of a 21-year-old man, who died after a dispute with the guard after illegally detained in Montreal Jail in 2022.

The Quebec Provincial police say the 54 -year -old suspect was arrested on Thursday and was accused of murder in the death of Nicas D’Andre Spring.

The sebastian boss was released on the promise of appearing in court on a future date.

Spring died in 2022 on the eve of Christmas after Montreal’s Bordeaux gel guards and their heads were fitted with a spit hood and pepper snatched them twice.

The Public Safety Department of Quebec described the detention of spring as “illegal” as they were released a day before the change.

Death motivated Spring’s family and a civil rights group to call for systemic racism in the provincial prevention system.
